POSITION SUMMARY


The role provides key support to our client development efforts in Vietnam, and we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate who can work alongside colleagues across different geographies and has experience working in a law firm or the professional services environment. The candidate should also be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, and is proactive, resourceful and efficient, delivering with the highest levels of results, teamwork and professionalism.



KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Review and understand the requirements and submission formats of the Request For Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients
  • Coordinate with Bain’s Partners, Executive Assistants, Client Development, Procurement, Legal and Finance teams in preparing all documents for RFP response (proposal submissions) and provide follow up as necessary
  • Attend initial clarification meetings held by RFP issuer, and provide a summary of the sessions to the Partners (including details of attendees and any additional information highlighted beyond the RFP documents)
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients’ procurement team for coordination and liaison purposes
  • Work closely with the Risk & Compliance team who coordinates the execution of risk assessments, maintains the risk system and ensures compliance of cases if required
  • Register and maintain Bain as a vendor in the clients’ e-procurement portals
  • Work with Finance to coordinate invoicing and deliverables sign-off where applicable
  • Provide administrative support by receiving and routing calls, mails and emails
  • Perform other related duties as requested


QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES


  • A minimum of two years of work experience in a law firm, a professional services environment, or comparable position
  • Experience working with SOEs (state-owned enterprises) preferred
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required
  • Must be highly customer service oriented and technologically savvy
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, demonstrate good judgment, prioritize, and exhibit sound judgment in a multiple leader, team oriented, fast paced environment
  • Previous experience in consulting service procurement or management consulting company is strongly preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law is strongly preferred
