KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the entire data stack for the relevant business partner. Masan has companies with long histories and entrenched knowledge - the analyst must have the ability to deep dive, explore, and “own” knowledge of all things related to that company’s data
- Using that data, create insights that leverage cutting edge analytical concepts and technology – these can be in the form of presentations, dashboards, recurring meetings, among other things
- Present the key findings to senior leaders
- In addition to providing descriptive analytics of what has occurred, the analyst is expected to provide forward-looking insights that can help with longer-term strategic planning
- Create clear and usable documentation that can be leveraged by other analysts and non-technical members
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Statistics, Economics, or equivalent degree that is technical in nature
- Minimum one to two years experience in analytics
- Should be very proficient in SQL and have experience querying large datasets (hundreds of millions of rows); BigQuery and Databricks experiences are preferred
- Should have a solid grasp of an analytics language – Python or R
- Familiar with using and creating dashboards (LookerStudio, PowerBI, Tableau, Superset, etc.)
- Can communicate in Vietnamese at a professional level; English is preferred at professional level as well, but at least minimum working proficiency
